The problem

An unrestrained dog in the car is a distraction at best and a projectile in a sudden stop at worst.

How it helps

This seat belt restraint clips into your car’s existing seat belt buckle and attaches to your dog’s harness, keeping them secured in the back seat without restricting normal sitting and lying down.

Why you’ll like it

  • Keeps your dog secure and out of the front seat
  • One less distraction while driving
  • Reduces injury risk in sudden stops
  • Works with your existing seat belt, no installation

Features

  • Heavy-duty nylon webbing with elastic bungee shock absorber
  • Adjustable length, 20–45 inches
  • Clips directly into seat belt buckle
  • Attaches to any harness back D-ring

How it works

  1. Clip one end into your car’s seat belt buckle
  2. Adjust the strap to the length you need
  3. Clip the other end to your dog’s harness D-ring
  4. Let your dog sit or lie down as normal

Common questions

Does this work with a collar instead of a harness?
We recommend a harness only — clipping to a collar can strain the neck in a sudden stop.

Will it fit any car?
Yes, it clips into any standard seat belt buckle.

Can my dog still move around?
Yes, the length allows sitting, lying down, and looking out the window, just not climbing to the front.

Safer car rides start with keeping your dog secured in back.

It just arrived and I haven’t tried it in the car. But I think it fulfills its purpose.

Item is exactly like the picture and description show and works exactly as expected. I bought it because I had to break hard to avoid a deer one night while my dog was with me and was terrified when he went flying forward. Now I don’t have to worry while he is buckled safely in the back seat.
